New 'Options at Retirement' tool
We are delighted to launch our new ‘Options at Retirement’ tool.
Retirement is a key milestone in people’s lives and understanding options at retirement can be difficult for everyone.So we’ve designed an interactive 'Options at Retirement' tool, hosted in the Retirement Centre, to try to help people better understand their retirement options.
The Options at Retirement tool presents eight sample retirees, each taking different retirement benefits depending on:
- their pension plan (Defined Contribution, Personal Retirement Savings Account, Personal Retirement Bond and Additional Voluntary Contributions),
- their pension fund size
- their personal circumstances
We have also included a glossary of pension terms that we know people find confusing.
